Sent Grid

The grid field in New Log Sent Exchange preferences supplies a default value for your grid, used when grid is part of your sent exchange and when computing bearing and distances to other grids.

Set your grid to the 4-pair representation. SkookumLogger will convert to 2 or 3 pairs depending on contest rules.

If you change grids during a contest that has grid as part of the sent exchange, use the Sent Exchange Editor to update your sent grid. SkookumLogger can do this for you using macOS Location services. Enable the Automatically set sent grid option in Logging preferences.
