Message Special Keys

The Special Key tab in Messages preferences defines additional single-key shortcuts to augment the limited supply of function keys. These keystrokes are recognized only when a QSO data entry text field has keyboard focus. You can leave the definitions empty for any of the commands that you do not intend to use via this mechanism. To define a special key, type any single character that isn’t a digit, a letter, or one of these symbols * , . / ? ° :

Hint: Begin QSO and End QSO are the most powerful of these items. Assign them to semicolon and apostrophe, respectively.
