Submitting One Log for Multiple Contests
Sometimes you want to participate in contests with overlapping operating periods. You can do this by creating a new log for each contest and switching between them using File ► Open Recent Log ► or File ► Toggle Recent Log .
A second approach is to use one log for all QSOs and File ► Change Log’s Contest Rules when you are ready to submit Cabrillo files for each contest. The exchanges for the contests much be compatible. For example, this scheme works for NEQP + 7QP + INQP + DEQP:
Create a log for the primary contest. If you are operating in an Inside QSO party, use that as as your primary contest. SkookumLogger will track multipliers and score for this contest.
Log what you hear for all QSOs. Some may be marked as suspect; that is OK.
After the contests end, submit the log for the primary contest. Then use Change Log’s Contest Rules to rescore the log for a different (compatible) contest. Each time you do this, use Time Tracker to set the Start Date to the date for the beginning of your log. Then submit the rescored log.
This procedure does not change the content of the log file. It is safe to change the rules several times in any order, in case you want to rescore during a contest.
