SkookumNet
SkookumNet is the name of a service that SkookumLogger creates for interconnecting different computers running SkookumLogger on your local network. When a member of SkookumNet logs a QSO, that QSO is added to the logs of all other members. Similarly, when a member of SkookumNet creates an activity, that activity is added to the activity tables of all other members. SkookumNet also handles editing of logged QSOs, and deletion of logged QSOs and of activities. It is required but not enforced that each member’s log be configured to use the same contest rules.
To participate in the network: Choose Window ► SkookumNet , then click the Join SkookumNet button. The window title will change to show your member name, using the Computer Name in your Sharing system preferences. To stop participating, click the Leave SkookumNet button. To resume participation, click the same button, labeled Join SkookumNet . You can close and reopen the window without affecting whether or not you are participating.
