Data Messages

SkookumLogger can send stored messages via your radio‘s text encoder for FSK or PSK modes. Choose Window ▶ Editors ▶ Show Data Messages Editor to open a window for customizing the messages.

Data (FSK/PSK) messages are similar to CW, message. The primary difference is an addition token (}) for inserting CR and LF characters in order to start a new line in the receiver’s display. Also, SkookumLogger does not automatically insert 599 when sending the exchange (& token) so that you can choose how many times to repeat the signal report.
