Submitting a Cabrillo File
When you have set up all the values in the settings sheet appropriately, SkookumLogger can create and send your Cabrillo file directly to the contest sponsor; you will not need to open and edit the exported Cabrillo file outside SkookumLogger.
File ► Submit Log Via Web Browser — Automates the steps for preparing and uploading your Cabrillo file to the contest sponsor via the sponsor’s web site. You should use this option if it is enabled. SkookumLogger exports your log to a Cabrillo file via a standard Save dialog where you can name the file anything you like, and opens your web browser to the appropriate web page where you choose the saved file and supply other information requested by the contest sponsor. This command is disabled when the contest sponsor does not support web uploads.
File ► Submit Log Via Apple Mail — Automates the steps for preparing your Cabrillo file to be sent to the contest sponsor as an email attachment. SkookumLogger quietly exports your log to a Cabrillo file, then composes an email with the appropriate to and from email addresses and subject, using Apple Mail. The from email address is taken from the Email address that you set in your Cabrillo preferences. Activate Mail to send the composed message. This command is disabled when the contest sponsor does not support emailed logs.
File ► Submit Log For SCP — Performs the same steps as submitting via Apple Mail, but addresses the email to the maintainer of the SCP database.
When you first run SkookumLogger you may be asked to allow SkookumLogger to control Mail. You can toggle permission on and off in the Privacy tab of Security & Privacy system preferences for the Automation item.
