QSO Information

The line below the entry fields in each QSO entry box displays everything SkookumLogger knows about the callsign in the call field. The bits of information are separated by spaces. The information line has a help tag for each bit of information.

The Grid component of the information line is determined as follows:

If the QSO has a received grid field and the content is valid, use that.
If your Exchange database has a grid entry for the call of the QSO, use that.
If your Exchange database has a US State entry for the call of the QSO, use the grid for the state.
If the contest rules for the log have Region information for the QSO, use the grid for the region.
If the Countries database has an entry for the call of the QSO, use the grid for the latitude and longitude of that entry.

The Bearing and Distance information components are short-path to the grid component from your grid .
